Authority systems didn’t start with modern governments. They trace back to ancient empires:

Babylon — Early financial systems, debt slavery
Rome — The invention of “legal persons” and citizenship control
Vatican (Holy Roman Empire) — Creation of trust systems to claim ownership over souls, property, and land

Did you know? The Vatican’s Unam Sanctam (1302 AD) declared that all human creatures were under papal control.
